Chairman's message

"By education, I mean an all-round drawing of the best in child and man in body, mind and spirit" - Mahatma Gandhi.

The academic year 2020 was largely characterised by Covid-19 pandemic making virtual learning the new norm across the globe. It was heartening to witness the alacrity with which the school quickly adapted to the new norm and brought in innovative measures to make learning effective. Post lifting of restrictions by the Government of Karnataka, the school, once again was quick to resume contact classes for secondary by abiding the covid protocols.

Last one year has witnessed considerable progress in upgrading facilities and infrastructure in keeping with the decisions of the management committee to make the school a "preferred choice" within the naval community and alleviating the schooling dilemma in the minds of parents moving to Karwar. I am confident that with continuous impetus towards improving facilities and infrastructure, the school will be adequately geared to handle the increase in the number of students with commissioning of the infrastructure being developed under Seabird Phase IIA.

The school is also progressing with CBSE affiliation for Senior Secondary Level commencing academic year 2022-23. Towards this new laboratories, libraries and induction of teachers in also planned. Commencement of these classes will ensure availability of complete schooling structure across all classes thereby fulfilling the long pending aspirations of the Naval Community.

We are in the formative years and it is therefore important to lay a strong foundation that will stand us in good stead in the years ahead. It will be our endeavor to provide our students an environment that will help them grow as the future leaders of our great nation. I am sure that the collective efforts of the management, parents, teachers and above all students , NCS(Karwar) will carve a niche for itself amongst top schools in the country with its students making significant contributions towards nation building in their respective fields.
